Bloomberg had ventured into the fantasy sports arena with the introduction of a new product line called Bloomberg Sports. Our NY creative/experience group won an invite only pitch process and was tasked with bringing this new product to market thru a new brand voice and visual style that could be strategically rolled out across many communication points for the initial launch and beyond (site, email marketing/loyalty, viral, social, events, etc). Their focus initially was on Fantasy Baseball with plans to move into other sports/markets after launch. We worked very closely with the client initially to further define their users, which helped influence strategy, voice, and design moving forward. Fantasy players were lacking a real trusted source in the space for information and Bloomberg was filling that void and empowering these users.
